| Thallus pale olive-green, thin, smooth, glossy. Ascomata numerous, sessile, straight, curved or sinuous, often branched, 2–6 mm long, 0.3–0.5 mm wide; lips initially closed, opening to expose the brown epruinose epihymenium. Proper exciple inconspicuous and non-carbonised, or lacking. Hymenium 75–100 µm thick, I–. Ascospores 8 per ascus, irregularly biseriate, muriform, 5–6 × 2–3-locular, 18–23 × 6–8 µm, I+ blue. CHEMISTRY: Norstictic acid. |
